Proceeds from the tour support many activities:
Co-funding the creation of archival microfilming of The Swarthmorean news-papers dating from 1914-1917 and 1929—2003.
Funding local projects and organizations such as the Swarthmore Horticultural Society and the Centennial Foundation.
Digitizing the microfilmed Swarthmorean newspapers mentioned above so that access can be made online to a wider audience. In addition, the microfilming of newspapers from 2003-2008 has been completed.
Ongoing preservation projects and introduction of new community program-ming, as well as the ongoing efforts of the Swarthmore Historical Society.
